1. All kayaks are equipped with year-round rudders and must not be removed from kayaks during the rental period.
2. In summer time, you must have a personal certificate minimum NPF (Wet Wet Short Course), EPP2 or BCU 2STAR. Without this, it becomes difficult for us to rent a kayak for you.

Booking and payment:

Reservations are made in writing by email.

Ordering is only valid when payment is made.

Payment can be made via Vipps, bank transfer or cash (NOK).

The booking can be refunded according to the cancellation policy.
Cancellation:

20 days or earlier before departure, 90% of original price is refunded, minus admin fee 600 kr

8-20 days before departure, 50% of the original price is refunded.

4 - 7 days before departure, 25% of the original price is refunded.

1 - 3 days before departure, no refund
Equipment collection and return:

Pick-up of equipment: 08: 00-10: 00

Return of equipment: 17:30 to 18:00

Both kayak and equipment must be cleaned by the tenant upon return.If you prefer that we clean the equipment, this costs NOK 200, - per. kayak.

Return the equipment later than 18:00, we will charge you NOK 250 for every 30 minutes you are late.

If you call no later than 17:00 we can make another appointment.
Liability agreement:

You must be able to swim.

You must always have a life jacket (PFD) on when you and your kayak are in the water.

If you are late, you are obliged to notify us no later than 17:00.

If you behave in an inappropriate manner (do not respect public law, do not wear PFD) or violate rules at sea or legal behavior, Narvik Rent A Car has the right to take back all rented equipment without refund.

Paddling kayaks rented from Narvik Rent A Car is at your own risk.

Canoeing is like taking other smaller vessels at sea.

You are responsible for ensuring that the paddling is in accordance with current regulations.

When you return, the rented equipment must be cleaned and in the same condition as it was when you rented it. If not, we will charge you for cleaning or emptying your kayak.

If you damage a kayak or other equipment, you are responsible for all costs to repair it.
